Google has announced their Distributed Cloud that will extend Google Infrastructure into customer data centers. 

At the recent Next '21 conference, Google announced Google Distributed Cloud, a set of hardware and software solutions to extend Google infrastructure to the edge and into customer data centers.

According to SciTechDaily, NASA is turning to the cloud to process the huge amount of data they’ve collected.
