According to FreightWaves, now is the perfect time for the trucking industry to make the switch to the cloud.

There may not be a better time in the history of the U.S. trucking industry for companies to digitize their operations, no matter how large or small they are.

Thanks to the cloud many companies were able to remain in business during the pandemic lockdowns, reports the Next Web. 

In late March 2020, the 2,000 employees of Barnsley Council, a local authority in the Dearne Valley of Yorkshire, England had to switch to home working, virtually overnight. 

According to ZD Net, IBM’s Cloud for Telecommunications wants to accelerate 5G conversion for its customers. 

IBM has announced the IBM Cloud for Telecommunications which is aimed at accelerating 5G and edge innovation for customers.
