According to Forbes, the ‘Cloud Hopper’ hack impacted a greater number of companies than originally thought.

In December 2019, the U.S. government issued indictments against two Chinese hackers who were allegedly involved in a multi-year effort to penetrate the systems of companies managing data and applications for customers via the computing cloud.

Utilities are now seeing the benefits of moving to the Cloud, reports T & D World.

A large majority (71%) of utilities now use cloud software, up from just 45% three years ago according to a new Oracle survey. 

According to IT Pro Portal, the focus should now be keeping data in the cloud secure. 

One of the biggest disasters that could befall an organisation is the loss of sensitive data. All it takes is a document shared—intentionally or unintentionally—with the wrong audience, a misconfiguration, or a small network or device vulnerability to put data, and the entire organisation, at risk.
