Amazon is leveraging its existing cloud platform for a new platform called Robo Runner that will help companies manage their robotic fleets, reports Geek Wire.

The concept of “multi-cloud” has become widely accepted in the tech industry, as companies use different cloud vendors for various types of cloud workloads. Now Amazon is preparing for a similar outcome in robotics.

Rising costs and lack of staff to implement migration, companies are slowing down on the move to the cloud, reports Info World.

A recent survey by Virtana of 350 IT and cloud decision-makers found that 82% have incurred unnecessary cloud costs, 56% lack tools to manage their spending using automation, and 86% can’t easily get a holistic view of all their operational cloud costs.
