Leading universities and major technology companies agreed on Tuesday to back a new project intended to give academics and other scientists access to the computing resources now available mainly to a few tech giants.

According to ZD Net, Amazon Web Services is bringing a new sector online that caters to the aerospace industry.

Amazon Web Services on Tuesday announced it's establishing a new business unit dedicated to the global aerospace and satellite industry. 

ID management company Okta, which is cloud based, reports it now has 99.999 percent uptime, reports ZD Net.
