The Pentagon’s JEDI cloud contract goes to Microsoft, beating out AWS, reports CNBC.

Microsoft has emerged victorious in a dramatic competition for public cloud resources for the U.S. Defense Department, beating out market leader Amazon Web Services, the Pentagon said on Friday.

According to Popular Science, using the cloud for storage of your files can make finding them a bit hard. 

Keeping your files in an online cloud locker means you can free up some space on your computer and get at your files from anywhere, using any device. 

Incompatibility still hinders the hinders the free exchange of data in the cloud, reports Info World.

If multi-cloud is the strategy for data warehousing today, then cross-cloud is its vision for tomorrow.
