Philips will use AWS to to send its storage and sharing platform for imaging scans to the cloud and to bolster that platform with new artificial intelligence-powered capabilities, reports FiereBioTech.

Between a range of collaborations across healthcare, pharma and medtech, and its own product development in the space, Amazon has spent the last few years moving further and further into the world of medicine—and a newly announced partnership is strengthening its foothold in the industry.

According to TechCrunch, companies are shying away from the cost of the cloud, but aren’t willing to move back on premises just yet.

It turns out that the cloud is expensive, and the more workloads you move to the cloud, the more it costs. Go figure.

Cloud access management company Trustle raises seed funding, reports Pulse 2.

Trustle – a provider of innovative cloud access management solutions – announced a $6 million seed funding round led by Glasswing Ventures with participation from FUSE, Correlation Ventures, and Capital Technology Ventures.
