Microsoft Improving Cloud for Telecomms

According to RCR Wireless, Microsoft is working to improve its cloud for the telecommunications companies.

Microsoft said it’s “improving the cloud for telcos” almost seven months after it announced it had acquired AT&T’s Network Cloud. Shawn Hakl, VP of 5G strategy, Azure for operators, broke out the company’s news in a new blog post.

Earlier this month, Craig McLuckie, the co-founder of the Kubernetes project during his time at Google and now the VP of R&D at VMware (after selling his startup Heptio to the company), was named the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cloud Foundry Foundation.
