According to Cloud Wars, the biggest risk for cloud vendors is helping their customers complete their migrations to the cloud. 

As more businesses move their on-premises databases to the cloud, many face a challenge that may take months or even years to work through.

The quick migration to the cloud caused by the pandemic caused an increase in security incidents, reports Tech Republic. 

Based on internal data, Unit 42's latest "Cloud Threat Report" found that organizations increased their cloud workloads by more than 20% between December 2019 and June 2020. Along the way, cloud security incidents rose by 188% just in the second quarter of 2020.

Google Cloud has joined FinOps, an open source organization focused on cloud financial management, reports Tech Crunch.
