The cloud is helping companies resist cyber attacks, reports Venture Beat. 

As we look to a post-pandemic world, we can expect to see companies invest in building resilience to destructive-type attacks. 2020 saw a record number of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) and ransomware attacks, and the numbers are expected to remain high through the rest of this decade.

According to Cloud Wars, Google Cloud is still posting huge growth rates.

Generating almost $53 billion in cloud revenue during their most-recent quarters, the world’s 9 largest and most-influential cloud providers have posted growth rates ranging from Google Cloud’s top-ranked 46.6% to the head-scratching 8% for IBM and SAP.

According to SDX Central, Nokia is betting its future on a pivot to the cloud. 

Nokia’s shift to the cloud is revving up, and the company’s future success could very well depend on it. 

“One of our key objectives at Cloud and Network Services (CNS) is to pivot our software to an as-a-service model,” Raghav Sahgal, president of CNS at Nokia, told SDxCentral.
