Driven by increased demand due to Covid cloud revenue has grown by 33% year over year, reports Tech Crunch.

The cloud infrastructure market kept growing at a brisk pace last quarter, as the pandemic continued to push more companies to the cloud with offices shut down in much of the world

According to TechRadar, sales of cloud services, hardware and devices grew by 34.4% in the second quarter, while it was driven by the pandemic experts believe it will continue to grow.

The pandemic has led to a major shift in the way in which business and consumers use online services which is why the analyst firm IDC believes that the second quarter of this year marked a tipping point as cloud sales exceeded non-cloud infrastructure for the first time.
