Most enterprises are using a public cloud yet cloud and container security strategies are lagging behind adoption. The lag is significant enough that developers and engineers bypass cloud security or compliance policies.

Amazon web services now houses 60% of the workload for Origin Energy, reports ZD Net.

Origin Energy has announced migrating over 60% of its workloads to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, covering the majority of its mission-critical workloads including billing and customer care, energy trading, operations management, and its enterprise data lake.

According to Yahoo Finance, the resurgence of Covid-19 around the country is causing a spike in cloud service demand.

This has seen the cloud business benefitting the most, with companies shifting data and information to technological and digital platforms to safely remain afloat.
